Its Monday 20th July 2009. 13:47PM. And the Doctor Who World is open again. As Matt (Smith) and Karen (Gillan) begin shooting Series 5 of New-Who I can reveal exclusively that pre-production on Series 5 of DWBNS has begun today!
I am currently holding meetings with a few other writers to discuss the series, see who will write which episodes etc, make sure i've got them signed up - and as soon as I have I will post the news here or on my twitter page!
There has already been some information released RE: Series 1 (Series 5), all of this is below:
- Shall include a total of 18 episodes
- Shall have a new companion
- Will feature a brand new TARDIS
- I shall be the Executive Producer/Head Writer
I can confirm I am in discussions with Andy (Harrison) over whether or not his Doctor will star in Series 5 but im afraid when we've reached a decision I wont be discussing it here for a long time! It's top secret after all!!
As soon as ive put to rest the final drafts for the Torchwood: Mini-Series we're working on, I will begin work on writing my episodes of DWBNS Series 1 (Series 5)
I can confirm I will be posting news of our meeting later, either this afternoon or sometime tomorrow - but all I can say for now that is definate is that Honour will be producing Series 5 and beyond! The future feels bright!
